Using VIPER

We couldn't find a free roulette risk tool this deep, so we built one

Test before you invest. VIPER Survival Lab is a free roulette strategy tester: see where your real layout breaks before you visit a casino. No signup.

You have a layout you trust. Red for the steady money, a six-line and a corner for the kicker, $2.00 a spin, chips on 24 numbers. It looks busy, and busy feels safe.

We put that exact layout through VIPER Survival Lab. Only 10 of those 24 numbers put you ahead. Fourteen just hand your $2.00 back. The other 13 numbers take it.

Most players find that out at the table, one chip at a time. There is a better way, and it has been VIPER's motto from day one: always test before you invest.

VIPER Survival Lab is live, and it is the most in-depth free roulette risk analysis tool we know of. It makes you one promise: know where your strategy breaks before you ever visit a casino. Lay out your actual bets on a real roulette table, set your bankroll and your progression, and see where your layout bends, where it breaks, and which run does the breaking.

Free. No signup. No download. It runs entirely in your browser.

VIPER Survival Lab, the free roulette strategy tester, on its Build layout tab: $1 on red, $0.50 on the six-line 1-6 and $0.50 on the corner 25/26/28/29 on a European single-zero table, $2.00 at risk a spin, with the layout panel showing coverage 24/37, net win 10/37, push 14/37 and net loss 13/37
Three chips, $2.00 a spin. The layout panel does the counting: 24 covered, 10 ahead.

Test your roulette strategy: seven questions before you buy in

The free calculators we found mostly ask how long you can double one even-money bet. Real players play layouts, and the risk lives in how the chips collide.

The lab takes the whole layout, on a European single-zero or American double-zero table, with every standard bet from a straight-up to the European trios and first four and the American first five. Then it answers the questions you actually ask:

  • Which numbers actually pay? Every chip is settled together on every pocket, so each number reads as a net win, a push or a net loss. Covered is not the same as ahead, and now you can see the gap.
  • How often does the long losing run show up? A roulette losing streak calculator, not a rule of thumb: the exact odds of a run of any length over the spins you really play.
  • Where does my progression run dry? It is a Martingale, D'Alembert and Fibonacci calculator in one, plus flat bets or your own ladder of up to 50 levels, on the whole layout or bet by bet. Build up coverage as you climb, too: one six-line at level 1, two at level 2, three at level 3, and the losing-streak odds stay exact. The stress ladder walks the losing path, flags the first bet your bankroll can't fund, and marks where your stop-loss ends the night. That is your breaking point, found on a screen instead of at a casino.
  • Five losses deep, which hits get me back? The recovery map answers, pocket by pocket.
  • What is this layout's nemesis? The nemesis finder names the losing pattern your layout is most exposed to, and shows the exact pockets where it bites, before you ever meet it at the table.
  • What happens over 10,000 nights? A seeded roulette simulator runs up to 10,000 sessions in your browser, with 95% intervals, and can put two scenarios on the very same spins.
  • Can I take it with me? A three-part printable risk report you save as a PDF straight from your browser, plus the numbers as JSON and CSV.

One layout, four verdicts

The layout from the top, on a single-zero wheel: $2.00 a spin, a $200 bankroll, a 150-spin night.

You askThe lab answers
I'm doubling with no stop, five losses down, and the sixth spin hits. Am I back?Depends which number. Black 2 pays +$32 on the spin and still leaves the night at -$30. Red 25 finishes it +$82.
How often does a run of six or more losses show up?A 16.39% chance in a 150-spin night — about one in six. That is the chance the run arrives, not the chance you go broke.
I double after every loss. Where does it break?Bet seven. $2, $4, $8, $16, $32, $64 is $126 gone, and the $128 seventh bet can't be funded from the $74 left.
And with a $60 stop-loss?You leave after loss five, at -$62. Your exit, on your terms.
The Martingale calculator in the Bankroll and progression panel, doubling the whole layout from $200: the wagers run $2 to $64 and lose $126, the seventh wager of $128 is flagged as the first one $74 cannot fund, and the path with a $60 stop-loss ends play after the fifth loss at -$62
Bet seven is where doubling runs dry: $128 asked, $74 left. The $60 stop gets you out at loss five.

Every number is live: load this exact layout and change anything. For the why behind each one, read how the free roulette risk calculator works.

Bring the proper bankroll

Most players pick a bankroll by feel. Think of the lab as a roulette bankroll calculator that helps you bring the proper one.

Look at that ladder again: $200 behind a $2.00 layout funds six doublings, $126 in all, and the seventh wager of $128 can't be funded from the $74 left. That first unfundable bet tells you where your stop-loss belongs: a $60 stop ends the night after loss five, at -$62, with most of your bankroll still in your pocket. Change the spins you plan to play, and the streak odds and the simulation show how long a session that bankroll can stand.

Don't like the answer? Try the free Martingale calculator with a smaller base stake or a bigger bankroll, or switch to a slower progression, and watch the ladder change.

You walk in with a bankroll sized for your plan, not a guess. Then VIPER's Bankroll Protection holds that plan at the table.

Now send it to the friend who swears by their system

Everybody has one: the friend whose layout has carried them through a hundred sessions. Send them a dare.

Copy Strategy Link packs your exact layout — chips, bankroll, stops, progression — into one link. Whoever opens it gets your layout ready to edit, with every number recalculated in their own browser.

Challenge a Friend sends it with the dare built in: Can you lower this strategy's bankroll risk without raising the starting bankroll? Your version and theirs sit side by side, simulated on the very same spins, with every trade-off on show. The lab never picks a winner for you. The bragging rights are between the two of you.

What it won't do

It won't tell you the next number. Nothing can: every spin is independent, and the wheel remembers nothing. The lab states the house edge once and plainly — 2.70% on a single-zero wheel, about 5 cents a spin on the layout above — and then gets on with what really decides a single night: how big you bet, how long you stay, and whether you leave when your plan says leave.

One honest warning, because it is the easiest mistake to make with a tool like this: don't raise the bankroll until the ladder funds one more doubling, and don't tune a layout until the streak number looks small and then size up. Either way the long run arrives less often. It still arrives, and the bigger bet makes it cost more when it does. The recovery map is the same: it shows which hits five losses deep truly get you back, not a reason to chase the sixth spin. Use the lab to choose a stop-loss you can live with.

Every figure is either exact math on a fair wheel or a seeded simulation labelled as an estimate. You always know which one you are looking at.

Where VIPER takes it further

The lab shows you where the $60 stop-loss belongs. It can't pull you out at loss five, when every instinct says one more spin. That is VIPER's job.

  • Let automated discipline hold the line. Your stop-loss, take-profit and session limits fire at the numbers you set while you were calm, not the ones you would pick five losses deep. That is Bankroll Protection, and it is the reason VIPER exists.
  • Build the whole strategy in VIPER. Set up the full plan in the app, or describe it in plain English and let the AI Wizard build it.
  • Backtest it on real spin history. Every purchase comes with a free million-spin dataset to test against.
